The Jennings Creek wildfire is now 90% contained since it started burning last week, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service says.

The New Jersey Forest Fire Services says that the Jennings Creek wildfire in Passaic County is now 90% contained on the New Jersey side of the fire. The fire, which spans across state lines into New York has been burning in the Sterling Forest since Saturday.

As of Friday, the Jennings Creek Wildfire is approximately 90% contained on the New Jersey side and about 65% contained on the New York side. “We have a really solid containment on our side,” said Chris Franek of the New Jersey Forest Fire Service.
